Illinois Shines reminded applicants that the submission window for Program Year 2026-27 Community-Driven Community Solar projects closes on August 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CPT. Under Section 5 of the Program Guidebook, the application period lasts 90 days following the June 1 start of the program year. Submissions will not be accepted after the cutoff time.
