Illinois Shines clarifies Part II application autofill rules following Part I cures

Illinois Shines · Jul 24

What happened

Illinois Shines notified Approved Vendors that changes made by the Program Administrator during a Part I Need Info cure do not automatically carry over to Part II applications. When starting a Part II application, vendors encounter an autofill prompt asking if the system information matches Part I across sections 1 through 4. Vendors must manually review and update cured details to ensure Part II application accuracy.

Why it matters

Approved Vendors operating in Illinois risk processing delays or additional administrative inquiries if Part I updates are not manually carried into Part II filings. Project teams should adjust internal submission workflows to double-check cured data points prior to final Part II submission. Maintaining data consistency across both phases avoids stalling final program approval and incentive payouts.
