Northern Sun Energy starts construction on 23 MW New York portfolio

What happened
EPC contractor Northern Sun Energy has begun construction on two community solar projects totaling 23 MWdc for developer Seaboard Solar in Waterford and Boonville, New York. The portfolio is supported by NYSERDA state incentive grants and will use local labor during construction.
Why it matters
The start of construction moves 23 MWdc of NYSERDA-backed pipeline into the build phase in upstate New York. Subscriber acquisition providers and off-takers can track these sites as they advance toward commercial operation and interconnection.
