Illinois Invests Big in a Just Energy Transition: $57 Million for Clean Energy Growth!
Governor Pritzker and the Illinois DCEO have announced $57 million in grant awards through the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). These funds will support various programs, including the Community Solar Energy Sovereignty Grant Program and the Equitable Energy Future Grant Program, aiming to advance clean energy projects and workforce development in historically disadvantaged communities and areas impacted by fossil fuel plant closures.
