Sun Power Soars! Manitowoc's Community Solar Skyrockets Production
Discover how the Manitowoc Public Utilities Community Solar Program is experiencing a significant increase in production! From just 81,966 kilowatt hours in January, the solar garden produced 342,912 kilowatt hours in May, enough to power 1% of the city’s consumption. This successful program, which went live in December 2024 and allows customers to enjoy solar benefits without upfront costs, is now fully subscribed with residents on a waiting list.
